This was once an old fisherman's cottage and then a barn. Now completely renovated, it nestles amongst coconut palms, on its' own acre of land, and looks out through greenery to views on all sides, rolling pastures, the ocean... and right up through "the Gap" to the summit of Haleakala. It even has its own palm-lined circular driveway and you can often pick your own bananas and macadamia nuts a few feet from your front door.

Upstairs is a large bedroom, king bed, plus study area, a perfect "artist&s retreat" with views of Haleakala to the south and the ocean to the north. Downstairs is a full kitchen plus sitting room/ lounge and a solarium - lots of windows and skylights - and a small deck extending into the garden. The bathroom is a gem, with fully restored Victorian bathtub and glass all around - Haleakala on one side and views of the ocean on the other or you can take an outdoor shower among the palms or swim in our new 40 foot free form jungle swimming pool...or laze in your own private hot tub under the stars.

There are full laundry facilities and there is a foldout sleeper sofa downstairs-so the cottage could be used by two couples traveling together if they're friendly.

Rates subject to 11.42% HI Taxes.    All prices are for 2 people. Extra people are $30 per person, per night.    Cancellation Policy: Bookings are 50% non refundable at the time of booking, 100% non refundable 60 days in advance. If for any reason you have to cancel, we will do our best to re-book your space. If we succeed, you'll only have to pay a 10% re-booking fee.
