The Casa de Emdeko oceanfront complex is located on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and is about two miles from town. There is a convenience store on site, an open air market in walking distance and a beach park good for swimming and snorkeling nearby. The complex offers two swimming pools (one is fresh water and the other is salt/fresh water and is ocean front), elevators, a sunning beach above a seawall, gas grills, a cabana with full showers and dining area which overlooks the ocean, from which we have often watched dolphin pods swim by or enjoyed the beautiful sunsets (complementary coffee is available in the morning in the cabana).
Our condo at Casa de Emdeko is on the second floor with easy access to the elevator. There is ocean and garden views from the lanai. The condo also has been renovated so the bathroom (which has side by side sinks) has access from both the bedroom and the hall, instead of only from the bedroom. Some of the amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fans throughout, washer and dryer, queen size bed (new mattress in 2010) and queen size sofa bed in the living room. Also furnished with two LCD television's with cable, VCR, stereo with cassette and CD player, games, books and puzzles. There are two telephones and an answering machine.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender and coffee grinder. Also provided is: full supply of linens, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, ice chest, beach towels and beach chairs. Bathroom remodeled in 2008 with new tile shower, sinks & medicine cabinets. DSL high speed internet w/WIFI and unlimited long distance phone service to U.S. and Canada provided.
The condo is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure.
It is a non-smoking residence, no pets allowed with a four person maximum occupancy.

The rental rates DO NOT include the cleaning fee and Hawaii State Taxes. A $75 and 13.25% Hawaii State Tax will be added to all stays. A $200-$500 deposit is required depending on low long you reserve. Deposit must be received within 7 days of making the booking or reservation will be cancelled. Full payment is required 45 days prior to your arrival date. Three-night minimum except during Christmas and Ironman Triathalon, which is seven nights. Ironman Triathalon (in October) is treated as High Season. |
